Julie has served on a range of community organizations, including the George G. Glenner Alzheimers' Family Centers Board of Directors, the USO Board of Directors, the American Nuclear Society (ANS) Public Information Committee, and chair of the ANS Board of Directors, San Diego Chapter.
Most recently, Julie was accepted as a member of the National Association of Science Writers, as well as the education subcommittee of the U.S. Green Building Council, San Diego Chapter.
She currently volunteers as both the vice president of government relations and corporate secretary for FirstMile.US. And, she is providing strategic advice as a member of the fundraising committee for the Glenner Centers.
